三病

The three ailments:

(1) (a) [lang id =1028]貪 lust, for which the [lang id =1028]不淨觀 meditation on uncleanness is the remedy; (b) [lang id =1028]瞋 anger, or hate, remedy [lang id =1028]慈悲觀 meditation on kindness and pity; (c) [lang id =1028]癡 stupidity, or ignorance, remedy [lang id =1028]因緣觀 meditation on causality.

(2) (a) [lang id =1028]謗 Slander of Mahāyāna; (b) [lang id =1028]五逆罪 the five gross sins; (c) to be a "heathen" or outsider; the forms recorded seem to be (sa) icchantika, (sa) ecchantika, and (sa) aicchantika. Cf. [lang id =1028]三毒.

１．貪病、 瞋病、 痴病。 貪病是貪心的毛病， 修不淨觀可冶； 瞋病是瞋恚的毛病， 修慈悲觀可治； 痴病是愚痴的毛病， 修因緣觀可治。 ２．謗大乘、 五逆罪、 一闡提。 這是屬於難治的三病。
